What is the Prepaid ticket?
Prepaid ticket is a valid ticket to be used in the public transport for a prepaid period of time.
Types of prepaid tickets
The prepaid tickets are available as 30, 90 and 365 day tickets for all zones and BID. There are various types of tickets to choose from: classic, discounted for senior citizens, students and pupils, senior special and multi-passenger prepaid for organizations. The prices are as follows:

Where and how to apply for the Prepaid ticket?
The identification chip card (IČK) is available in selected branches of DPB a.s., or with third contractual parties, issuing identification chip cards. IČK is not transferrable; its issue is based on a name and based on a filled and signed application form. The application form is available in DPB outlets, and requires a photograph of 3 x 3,5 cm. The chip card is valid for 5 years. Provided that you already own IČK you have to buy only a prepaid ticket for the requested time and zone in one of the outlets of DPB a.s..
How to buy the Prepaid ticket through internet?
DPB a.s. offers an option to purchase the electronic prepaid ticket conveniently from home via internet, selecting „Buy electronic prepaid ticket“. This service can be used by any holder of the chip card issued by DPB a.s., ZSSK a.s. and student cards contractual issuers. The electronic prepaid ticket can be purchased based on type, time and zone as a standard prepaid ticket (except BID – Integrated transport of Bratislava) no later than:
- 1 business day prior to desired validity of the ticket when paying via internet banking
- 4 business days prior to desired validity of the ticket when paying by wire transfer
To order an electronic prepaid ticket is necessary to state the license number of the chip card (10 digit number on IČK). Upon entering the system, the client obtains all the information on all valid electronic prepaid cards.
